The Small Munsterlander breed originated is a versatile hunting-pointing-retrieving dog. They have been used for fur-bearing animals like squirrels, rabbits and fox as well as a host of birds including duck, pheasant, grouse, and even geese just to name a few. But, because of their versatility and increasing popularity in canine sports, they can excel in agility and are being used for canine search and rescue.
